Try henna. I think you and I have the same hair and it turned me fantastically red (although to be fair, the first day was similar coloured to Ronald McDonald, but it got better after two days and now everyone loves it).
I was dubious about that too, but then thought “OK, dead dad, manipulative serial killer, plot demanding role reversal with Mulder. She’s allowed an off day.”
Yes, Daddy Warbucks! And the creepy psychic inmate guy has to be Matthew McConaughey. I know the hair is a little dark for him, but one mustn’t “unnerestimate” the drawl.
No, it’s not Matthew McConaghey. It’s Brad Dourif, who also starred in “One flew over the cuckoo’s nest” and “The lord of the rings”, as Grima Wormtongue.
I just watched Gillian Anderson in The Crimson Petal and the White, in which her hair looked like pink and white cotton candy. DO NOT IMITATE THAT LOOK. Red, however, might be nice
Also, I don’t recall ever seeing Brad Dourif play a non-creepy person. I think the spooky eyes have typecast him. I’d love to see a “spooky-eyed act-off” with him, Steve Buscemi, Christopher Walken and Eric Roberts.
The role reversal episodes make it very clear that only one of Mulder or Scully is allowed to be right at once.
I think Beyond the Sea is one of the ones where Scully hits the reset button at the end and decides it was all bunk, and instantly, Mulder, who has spent the whole episode disbelieving, is all, “But Scully, why don’t you believe?”

The funny thing is, I’ve seen Andrew do that exact look.
Do a crossover between this show and “Super Chicken” … call it “The Eggs Files”.
The last three panels. Completely awesome. There should be a comic that’s just ‘Shaenon and Andrew at home’. And it should have daily filks by eddurd.
Re Scully’s Dad: yes. yes it does.
This episode wasn’t flawless, though. If I recall, Scully broke down like the weak woman she is *snark* at least once.

AND the creepy psychic inmate guy is Grima Wormtongue.
This strip wins the Internet. Please never stop. Until Season 8.

Miss the X Files… Fringe is not enough!!! LOL! Keep going please!
Creepy psychic inmate guy is of course the legendary Brad Dourif, who I think does his best acting when his character is trapped in stuff.
Which TMNT collection is Andrew reading?
Wow, absolutely no co-relation between the x-files I like and the ones shaenon likes. Utterly stochatic.
