I like the part where he asks Mulder to put in a good word with Scully. I like to imagine Mulder going full on Regina George. “Be careful because Agent Pendrell has a huge crush on you! He’s got this doll and he says he’s going to make you fall in love with him. Wait that’s me. Yeah he’s really weird and socially retarded.”
“Surprisingly helpful secret railroad” ftw. Stuff like that reminds you of the rather piecemeal way film and TV scripts get put together…. I reckon it started out as a secret car on a normal train, and no-one remembered to re-write this scene when they had the idea of making the whole train secret.
Agent Pendrell. *swoon*
Btw, I absolutely adore your comic.

If this series ever develops merchandise, Panel #9 should be on the list for a T-shirt or coffee mug.
I’d buy it
Seconding this!
Thirding.
Fourth’d. (And this from a Lone Gunmen fan!)
Ah, the time-honored tradition of meeting in the middle of two ridiculous ideas.
S: You got your alien in my mutant!
M: You got your mutant in my alien!
Run Science guy! Anyone showing an intrest in Scully that doesn’t have an animal in his name* will only get the bad ending.
* This does not apply to animals with human names.
I don’t remember Bear Grylls or Wolf Blitzer ever being on X-Filtes…
Just stumbled upon this comic and love it.
Poor Agent Pendrell, I wish he had lasted a little longer.
Can’t wait until you get to syzygy!!
Panels 8 and 9 reminded me of the end of a What’s New strip: http://www.airshipentertainment.com/growfcomic.php?date=20070624
Subdermal implant… suggestive AND nerdy. And the French really classes it up.
