Maybe the X-Files goes to the trepanning well one too many times, but I’d rather have too much trepanning in my horror than not enough trepanning.
The first season of X-Files comics by Topps did Trepanning really well. It was actually one of the better X-Files arcs, come to think about it…
I’m trying to figure out what would be the exact right amount of trepanning.
Our local lord got himself trepanned. I met him a few times, didn’t seem that bonkers: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Charteris,_13th_Earl_of_Wemyss
That’s one bad case of peer pressure.
Some people believe that if you drill enough holes into enough heads, eventually you’ll find treasure. They call it … trepanning for gold.
