I make an exception for Teena Marie (who was a mother), but otherwise yeah, I thought it was an unlikely and not-great choice of name for Mulder’s mom.
Given the many name tributes on X-Files, I think I always believed they named Mulder’s mother after James Wong’s wife, also Teena (same spelling), and short for Christina. Though I think M&W might have been off the show by the time she was introduced (Colony?), so that might blow my theory.
The photo of baby Mulder holding the alien head balloon is a nice touch.

“Rahr!” cliffhanger, oh noes!
I always wondered what Talitha Cumi meant. Now I don’t have to look it up myself. 🙂
In the files in the mountain she was called “Anne Mulder” then for some reason she suddenly became “Teena”. Who knows?
Maybe Teena is an anagram of Anne? And someone in the production company had a stroke?
Or… tam tam tam… this is a “bonus” X-file?
Now I will never forget that stroke victims often suffer damage to the language center of oh never mind go do your thing.
Panel 4: That’s logic, that is!
Panel 13: Scully: “It’s comin’ right for us!” Blam! Blam! Blam!
Mulder does some serious Adam West Batman-level detective work in this episode.
Panel 10, fastest game of Red Rover ever played.
