I have to say, I really like this episode. Jealous!Scully at her best and everything.
And I was just thinking about The Craft a couple of hours ago, it was one of my favourite films back when I was about 9. Haven’t seen it since mom sold the VHS somewhere…
My favorite part of this episode was that their solution to the evil psychokinetic cheerleader final showdown was to throw them into a room together, slam the door and RUN!!!
It seems weird that a planetary alignment would end exactly at midnight. I was going to say it was probably supposed to be during Daylight Saving Time at that, but actually I think that this was supposed to take place in January; it’s awful nice out for a January in New Hampshire though.
At least they didn’t try to show the planets aligning. Like that bit in the Tomb Raider film with little round planets all lined up next to each other like balls in a Newton’s Cradle….tap Pluto and they go dinkdinkdinkdink.
Apparently the line about Scully’s legs not reaching the pedals is what Chris Carter told Gillian Anderson when she asked why Mulder always got to drive.
A screwdriver is vodka plus orange juice, over ice. An honor bar is that little refrigerator in your hotel room filled with overpriced liquor minis and snacks. And apparently this one has bottles of pre-made screwdrivers, which is repulsive.

Syzygy is also a very cool word, which people should use more in regular conversation.
Buut now I’m curious. What comics do you have framed on the wall behind your sofa?
Right now, a Carla Speed McNeil “Finder” page and a John Romita Jr. “Daredevil” page.

I’m really gonna miss this site when we run out of X-files. It is my Friday pick me up.
There’s always the good season or two of Millennium…
And like a half season of Lone Gunmen!
Now I’m sad I missed this one. And have to rewatch “The Craft,” obviously.
Huh. Planetary alignment causing evil possession….. Guess that explains my sisters descent into eyeliner all those years ago.
Some day I’m going to have to start watching these. I was far too young when they actually came out.

If only they’d realised they could fix all this by tricking the girls into saying the episode title backwards…
Now just wait for the episode with the twins played by Kathy Whatshername…
The Internet seems to be silent on the matter, so I guess I’ll go ahead and ask: What is an honor bar screwdriver exactly?

I thought whatever disgusting thing Mulder drank involved adding egg yolks to the bottle of vodka. Maybe I have to rewatch that scene.
Oh, no, it’s orange glop from a can of orange juice concentrate. Carry on.
I just discovered this site and it is already my new favorite thing.
