Good stuff. Wish you’d made fun of the plot a little though, since this episode definitely had one of the most bizarre twists. A seemingly-dead fetus growing out from a dude’s stomach can detach itself, go eat people, and then reattach itself? What. The. Shit.
Yeah, what Josh said. I remember very few X-Files episodes, but I’ll never forget this one, entirely because of Vincent Schiavelli and the creepy twin.
Basically I will like anything with Michael J. Anderson in it, because that guy is great, so it was a bonus that this episode is legitimately excellent.
In season, groundnuts boiled in their shells are widely consumed.
Moreover, calcium contained by milk helps the brain use tryptophan.
Remove from oven and serve pudding immediately with
pouring cream.
I don’t approve of eating live animals, even bugs, but watching the bonus feature on the DVD where Gillian eats the bug, then smiles weirdly as the crew applauds, made me feel funny in a fun way.

So when will Shaenon meet up with Gillian at a Comic Con?
I’ve eaten crickets. They’re not a problem. I never considered it something I have in common with Gillian Anderson before though. Cool!

Usually like my food cooked, even if it’s crickets…
The only thing I’ve ever eaten alive have been ants apparently, when I was 2 years old…
